My wife and me enjoyed an amazing evening. Great music 🎶 and history of NYC Info below copied from event notice: "New York Stories: Threads of Our City looks at musical expressions of the immigrant experience in New York, with music by Julia Wolfe. Story About: Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire on Washington Place in downtown New York Fire in my mouth, I weave fragments of oral history, the clatter of factory sounds, Yiddish and Italian folk songs, words of protest, and stories of loss and grief. With my collaborators, projection artist Jeff Sugg and director Anne Kauffman, I follow the story of these women who rose up to demand a more human existence. This piece is dedicated to their memory." Thank you to the New York Philharmonic for providing a wonderful evening out with my family. This was our first time at one of your events and we were all amazed at the performance. Your donation to VetTix makes nights like this possible to many of us that missed out on family moments due to being deployed to various places around the globe. We hope to see more shows like this as my little girl is an aspiring cellist. Thanks again as always to you VetTix as well..
