Stephen Tisdale is the son of an Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. Although he considered joining the Air Force ROTC program in college he decided to pursue a professional career in the electronics industry. He graduated from Holy Cross College with a BA in Chemistry in 1976, went on to attain an MBA with a focus in Operations from U-Mass Lowell in 1983, and completed his Masters in Program Management from George Washington University in 1997. He has been involved in the electronics industry for 40+ years and is a seasoned Engineering Manager. He has worked for General Electric (5), IBM, (20), Honeywell Electronics (3), Raytheon (1) and Intel (12.5) during his career. He has been an executive level customer and supplier interface as well as an industry roadmap strategist, and has been intimately involved in mergers and acquisitions.
Stephen is President of Tisdale Environmental Consulting LLC where he is a recognized Content Expert in the areas of Environmental Compliance, Industry Standards, Semiconductor Packaging, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design / materials and Assembly Technology. He is considered a Trusted Advisor to the European Union Commission / European Union Consultants (IZM Fraunhofer) regarding semiconductor technologies and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Exemptions. He is a Technical Expert / Interface for numerous global standards development organizations such as the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). He was considered a Master Inventor (May 1995) at IBM and currently holds over 35+ Patents. While at IBM and Intel he also received numerous Division and Corporate Recognition Awards. He is also a Certified Six-Sigma Green Belt
Steve considers it an honor and a privilege to be part of Veteran Tickets Foundation. Although he didn't take the opportunity to serve his country when he was younger, he is now enthusiastically doing his part to give something to those who gave...the brave men & women who are now and have served our country!
