We almost didn't make it to the concert. My father died the same day of the concert, so everyone was very sad. When we finished visiting with family, we landed at my sisters house around 6:30. It seemed horribly insensitive to head to a concert at that point, and we decided not to go. But...the adults decided the distraction of the concert would be great for the kids. So I took my two daughters, plus my niece. They ended up laughing, singing, and having a wonderful time. And I was able to hide in the crowd, sitting in my seat with others standing all around me. Somehow, that atmosphere brought me peace. It was so loud and I didn't have to be the one to make noise. It's impossible for me to explain, but it DID help. Thank you VERY MUCH for these tickets. They were generous, and uplifting for my family.
