Nursing can be exhausting, emotional, and demanding, and sometimes a simple gesture of appreciation means more than people realize. Having the opportunity to step away, enjoy a night at the ballpark, and make some amazing memories is truly such a special gift. My mom is a huge Seminoles fan, so being able to bring her—and her service dog for her very first football game—made this trip so special. Between the wild power delay and the intense, back-and-forth action, we made the most of every minute, and her pup handled the loud, chaotic game-day atmosphere like an absolute champ. Today was so much more than just a baseball game. It was my son’s best friend’s first-ever MLB game and his first trip to New York City, and getting to experience it together made the day even more special. Your generosity gave these two boys an experience that otherwise may not have been possible. Watching their excitement walking into Yankee Stadium, taking in the atmosphere, and getting to experience one of baseball’s greatest rivalries together is something I will never forget, and I know they won’t either. These are the kinds of days that become lifelong memories. Years from now, they may not remember every pitch or every detail of the game, but they’ll remember the feeling of being there together and experiencing Yankee Stadium for the first time. Had an amazing time at Ikons of Rock at The STRAT with my husband! We loved the smaller venue—it made the experience feel so much more personal. The singers and tribute rock bands were absolutely amazing, and the sound and lighting were incredible! 🎸🤘 We had such a great time and would definitely recommend it!

My late father graduated from FSU in 1983, and this was my mom’s very first game back since before my sister was born in 1986. Getting to bring her back after nearly 40 years to experience the Legacy Walk, see the renovated Doak Campbell Stadium, and celebrate his memory together made for an unforgettable day. We are deeply grateful to FSU for this meaningful experience!
