As a first responder who works long and irregular hours, I don’t often get the chance to get out of the house and truly relax. Opportunities like this help me reconnect and bond with my friends, which means more than I can express. I really appreciate everything First Tix does for veterans and first responders. Thank you so much for donating the tickets to the Anne Wilson concert on Saturday (4/11/26). My wife and I took our 10-year-old daughter, and we all had an absolutely incredible time. Anne Wilson put on an amazing performance from start to finish. One of the most memorable moments of the night was when she came out on the moon during the song “Stars.” My daughter absolutely lost her mind—in the best way possible. Her excitement was contagious, and seeing her so full of joy and wonder is something I won’t forget anytime soon. She had a smile on her face the entire night and is still talking about it. Experiences like that mean more than I can fully put into words. As a police officer, my schedule can be demanding, often keeping me away from my family on many days. Opportunities like this allow me to be present for moments that truly matter. That night, because of your generosity, I wasn’t just “dad”—I was the hero in her eyes.
