Thanks to the Phoenix Rising organization we attended much more that this USL season opener - the crowd which, despite the Corona-virus scare, showed up in droves, demonstrated the fearlessness and resilience typical of the Phoenicians, qualities which are now been fully embodied by the team. The people in the stadium showed who they identify themselves with and an allegiance that will remain cemented for the years to come. If this was the vision of Phoenix Rising ownership, they should delight in the fact that they were perfectly right. I am truly sorry for the Portland fans who showed up to witness their team obliterated by our powerhouse.....
