Thank you to the Arizona Ballon Classic organizers for sponsoring such a fun event. Although the weather did not fully cooperate in the morning sessions, my wife and I learned so much about the history and technical requirements of the ultimate flying machines. What surprised me most is there is no wind while in the gondola! You can actually lay a paper map over the edge, and it would stay still. We also got to see stunt kites with more than one line. Looks easy, takes years to master the skills. Bonus: event in Goodyear, AZ was also at the spring training stadium site of my beloved Reds!

Well... I thank you for the tickets although most of them were completely gone by 0730 in the morning. Was really hoping to see them up in the sky, but I guess the winds were too strong and they could not fly. Purchased a wind turbine from a vendor on site and walked around to check out what was left. Thank you for the tickets and I hope next year it will all work out a bit better.
