My wife and I had the distinct opportunity to attend the Rising match against LA Galaxy II on Saturday night, July 3, 2021 as a result of the generosity of the Phoenix Rising FC and their donation of two tickets for us to attend the match. The seats were magnificent and on about the mid-field line. As we sat there in the heat of the night, it started to rain as the match proceeded. While we enjoyed the cooling effect of the rain as it pulled some of the heat out of the air, we both remarked about how fortunate we were to attend the game! Very few people have the opportunity to watch their favorite team in their favorite sport on an evening in July when temperatures have been over 100 degrees all day while at the same time enjoying the pleasant cooling rain during an exciting match! What a gift! And, to add to the fun, Rising won the match! We have much for which to be thankful and Phoenix Rising added a wonderful opportunity to that list. Thank you Again!
