Dear Bond Theatrical Group: We really appreciated the generous tickets to “A Soldier’s Play.” It was superb! My wife and I were at the edge of our seats throughout. The script is marvelously written and the performance first rate. Loved seeing and hearing the talent so much, we hope there will be a “sequel” for the members of the cast. The story is indeed still ripe for our times. Truly, a look into the complexities and contradictions embedded and manifest in an identifiable and oppressed social group. As a son and daughter of immigrants to this great country, we’ve seen, heard , and have felt the effects of racism from outside the group; and just as disturbing, from within—when fingers point at those who stand out most to be different, and regrettably in the minds of the “Sgt Waters” of the community, are seen as the source of their misery, a target to be expunged. It happens, unfortunately. The irony is real. Thankfully, we have thoughtful and wonderfully talented playwrights, actors, and other artists of the stage who bring this to the forefront, and remind us of our own frailties and the need to better understand and appreciate one other, in dignity. The creators and performers of “A Soldier’s Play” do a service to the community and to the nation. A salute to you all! We are truly grateful to the Bond Theater Group for having provided this most moving experience. It was an inspirational start to the Summer. The sun looks brighter today. Most Grateful, Bill and Susan Semper Supra

Thank you so much Bond Theatrical Group for the donation of tickets to see A Soldier's Play last night. The play was very well done and showed the harsh reality of the racism of the times. Though things are better now, we still have a long way to go to rid society of this poison. Thank you Vet Tix for putting togther this program for us, you do excellent work. Thanks again, Jim
