The seats were terrific and the game was amazing! What an unbelievable gift from the New York Islanders. Thank you so much for your kindness. Aging for us is good but it brings a lot of new challenges that are very demanding. Being able to enjoy these great seats with the iconic Islanders is a huge morale booster from the drains of dealing with the lifelong impact of my injuries and biochem war exposures. Thank you. My son Brian, also a VET, and myself thoroughly enjoyed the awesome seats off the Isles' net to watch a wild game between the Isles & Toronto Maple Leafs. The game was tied up at 3-3 with 6 secs left in regulation, but the isles got the OT (4-3) win with under a minute of play. We witnessed the former Isles, John Tavares reach the 1000 pt milestone. My personal favorite, Kyle Palmieri, scored for the Isles. It is with our deepest gratitude to the NEW YORK ISLANDERS for honoring VETS with these generous tickets. We wish to thank them for personally honoring a Vietnam Vet who was their guest at the game.
