I want to thank the donor for the tickets. After over 37 years of government service, I retired and was able to enjoy this with my brother. We’ve only spent four days together during the time I was in the military and then working for the DoD, due to deployments and/or work schedule. This was a long awaited opportunity.

Thank you NASCAR...first race I've been able to get my wife to try and I think I now have a new fan for y'all. The seats were excellent, as was the venue. Fortunately, our race was not rain shortened...only slightly delayed. Everything was perfect, including the weather. Unfortunately, it looks as if we just dodged the rain bullet as the remainder of the weekend is promising rain and will undoubtedly create some problems with the remaining weekend's races.
