Man, what a day and what a RACE for my sons 14th birthday!! The day started out kinda iffy, with the rain and the delay but that couldn't have been better, as my family and I ran into a whole group of Veterans at the Phoenix camp grounds and we had a blast! Then how do you beat a race that ended up being the closest finish in Nascar Cup history 0.001 of a sec. I want to thank Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Kansas Speedway. This great day could not have been possible without them.

I’m so grateful to the Veterans Ticket Foundation for providing a fun evening at the race for my parents, son, and me. The weather tried to scare us away, but we waited it out and were rewarded with a GREAT race.

Thank you very much! My son and I were very excited to go to our first NASCAR race! We drove up from a little over 3 hours away. We stayed out in the rain until 4 pm when we decided to “call it” due to mom and sis running out of things to do to keep their sanity. Knowing we had a 3 plus hour drive ahead of us with storms forming I. The direction we had to drive, we did t even get to see the tarps come off the the cars. This is no fault of anyone! We were thankful for the opportunity to even get to see the track! We plan on coming back for The late summer race! While he was disappointed, he did get to see his favorite driver win the race by a record 0.001s on our drive home. We could have stayed but it didn’t make since to make everyone stay out until 1 am had we stayed and watched what was a great race! As a life long Chiefs fan: “There’s always next year!” The track was gorgeous and we did eat some food, very tasty! We met some fanatics NASCAR fans and did enjoy the time we had!

I want to thank you for the wonderful and very memorable experience! Even though the race was rain delayed it turned out to be a very unforgettable experience for me and my family! My youngest son has disabilities and he absolutely enjoyed it like no other!
