We had the best time last night at the Opry Country Classic, singing along (quietly) with familiar songs (sung by newer artists) made famous, back in the day—in our earlier day—by Hank Williams, Skeeter Davis, Dolly Parton, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, the Statlers, etc. And there were the Gatlins themselves singing about "all the gold in California." And we loved the improvisational hymn sing portion. BTW, this photo was taken by a Brazilian seated behind us. He and his wife were up on their second tour of the US. He raises cattle, and they love country music. They've been all over the nation, and they didn't want to miss Nashville. And thanks for having us vets stand up. When I did that, they signaled that they appreciated my service, even thought it wasn't for their home nation. I'd been to Brazil on a half-dozen mission trips and I knew a little Portuguese. We had fun working with the little I knew. Thanks again for a great evening.

Thank you Grand Ole Opry for a awesome show cohosted by Larry Gatlin. He is one of the best entertainers ever. The new talent, Avery Anna did well. Vet Tix gives us the opportunity that normally I wouldn't be able to see.
