I was stationed at Charleston AFB in 1993 when the Carolinas were chosen to get the Carolina Panthers in the NFL expansion. They’ve been my 2nd team behind the Chicago Bears ever since. Back in Illinois, I received the Carolina Panthers coat I’m wearing as a gift from my wife about 25 years ago. Today, thanks to the generosity of the Carolina Panthers and the outstanding work of the VetTix organization, I was finally able to wear this coat to a Panthers home game. Thank you #VetTix.
