Quite an evening ! Meeting Dr. Salgado, followed by an amazing percussion performance, hearing a new piece by a woman composer, and the spectacular movie complementing Holtz's Planets - what a way to kick off a new season. AND, what a charming conductor ! Thank you, Phoenix Symphony - this is going to be a great year. By the way, your generosity meant I could bring my son, who had never heard The Planets before and was so very excited by the evening's end.
