Thank you, Phoenix Symphony for an extraordinary evening at Symphony Hall. The performances of the orchestra, the Phoenix Symphony Chorus and the Phoenix Boys Choir, were part of an evening I won't forget. Our Conductor, Bob Bernhardt, was very entertaining and clearly knowledgeable about the great John Williams' musical prowess, covering film score work from the 1970's to the present times. The music was great; however, the moment for me that has been etched into my memory, is when just prior to playing music from "Patriot," Mr Bernhardt asked that the house lights be brought up and asked that the Veterans in the house stand up. What an incredible honor as the house applauded us! As I think about this, once again I am brought to tears, as I was Friday night. Thank you, Phoenix Symphony, for a memorable evening; and, thank you for honoring our service, to this great country!

The Phoenix Symphony presentation of A John Williams Celebration was a delight. Bob Bernhardt, Conductor, presented each of the eighteen pieces with history, humor and an insight into John Williams and his music. Thank you Phoenix Symphony.

Thank you Vet Tix and sponsors for the opportunity to be taken back through our lives listening to the Phoenix Symphony enchant us with the sounds of Composer John Williams. As we sat in our seats, we flew with ET, battled with the Empire from Star Wars, magically relived our Harry Potter memories and felt the bitter pain of Saving Private Ryan. The conductor was animated, but before he conducted Saving Private Ryan's score, he had a respectful oration for the veterans in the audience and gave us a well-deserved and appreciated applause.
