As I had not attended a college-level in decades, it was fun watching kids having fun. Although the game itself wasn't very exciting (no touchdown, 3 field goals) very exciting, I was able to experience human caring as a stranger brought me a cold bottle of water, saying: "We need to take care of you."

At NIU for San Diego State University game (free seats... thank you Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix ).. NIU had a great day planned... it was a Military appreciation Day, worth tables set up with all branches represented and some nice free military gear (pens, lanyards, stickers, pins, service labled water bottles). There was an Army helicopter flyover, and some new recruits even got sworn into the service on the field. Proud to be an Merican!
