A huge thank you to VetTix and the amazing donors for the chance to see Counting Crows live in Hollywood, FL on July 22nd! This was more than just a concert, it was a full-circle moment for me. I grew up listening to Counting Crows back when I was serving in the Marines. Their music helped get me through a lot of tough days and long nights. Getting to hear them live for the first time and sharing that experience with my daughter was something I’ll never forget. When they played “Round Here,” it hit hard in the best way. The whole crowd felt it. The band still sounds incredible, and the energy was spot on all night. My daughter was loving it, dancing, singing, and just soaking in every song like she’s been listening to them for years (I might’ve rubbed off on her a little). They even came back out for an encore, which totally sealed the night as unforgettable. Thank you, VetTix, for making moments like this possible, music, memories, and a night I’ll always treasure with my daughter.

I loved that my daughter was open to experiencing different music that she’s used to listening. She had heard “Mr. Jones” before, but their more recent work is more mellow but still very enjoyable.
