Thanks so much to both Live Nation and Vettix.org for the generous gift of tickets to see the Cyndi Lauper concert at Pine Knob in Clarkston, MI on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 for myself, ( a veteran of both the Navy & the Army National Guard), along with my wife, Yvonne. We were teens in the 80s and Cyndi Lauper's concert was so much fun and brought back many memories. We even dressed for the occasion which added even more fun & my funny wife said seeing me in black eyeliner, black nail polish, fingerless gloves with one long dangling earring like "back in the day" made her feel like a high school girl with a crush HAHA! We would have even been grateful for lawn seats, but Live Nation even treated us to pavilion seats! Cyndi was absolutely awesome! Life has thrown a lot of hard balls our way all at once the last 9 mos., with barely a moment to breathe and this was SO needed and helpful. So therapeutic. We are both extremely grateful!

A huge thank you to Vet Tix for an unforgettable night seeing Cyndi Lauper at Pine Knob! The seats were incredible, and this was a full‑circle moment for me. I can still remember being stationed in the early ’80s at Davis-Monthan AFB when her album “She’s So Unusual” dropped. I always leaned toward her quirky, fun energy, even over Madonna (sorry fellow Michigander!). I’ll never forget seeing that old concert footage of her flying over the crowd during Money Changes Everything. That image stuck with me for decades. Getting to see her live all these years later, sharing the same birthday, felt like one of those moments that takes you back while reminding you how far you’ve come. Thank you, Vet Tix, for making this night possible!
