I would sincerely like to thank the people that donated this ticket for me and Blue (my service dog). Due to serving in the Navy on 9/11, as a New Yorker originally that grew up about a 35 minute train ride from the towers, and generally as an American, 9/11 is extremely close to my heart I have gone back to visit ground zero on as many anniversaries as I have been able to. It truly is extra sombering of a visit on 9/11. After my visit to the WTC it was extremely nice to have a slight change of pace. The Yankee game was even extra meaningful for the following reasons. The Yankees disability staff was extra helpful, hospitable and caring with assisting and went above and beyond to having my service dog along with me. My grandfather and I used to go to NY Yankee games very frequently during my childhood so it really brought up great memories. Going into the game I knew Aaron judge was 2 home runs to go to get to tie Joe DiMaggio home run record, Joe DiMaggio during WW2 served the army to help morale for the troops which my grandfather was one such service member serving during WW2 and benefited from his morale boost. My grandfather would continue going to games to watch him as a Yankee. Lastly the Yankees won a much needed game against Detroit 9-3 Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the donor that allowed me such a memorable and meaningful evening. Etan Cohen

It was an honor to be in attendance for the 24th anniversary of 9/11 and having our President DONALD TRUMP in attendance! It was a beautiful late summer evening at the iconic stadium watching our favorite team cruise to a 9-3 win and seeing Aaron Judge hit 2 HR's! Thank you New York Yankees for the great tickets, great game (back to back Judge homers) and great food my daughter, her friends and I had. The New York Yankees have always been there supporting our Troops and First Responders as in the early days after 9/11, New York Yankees were the ONLY professional sports team in the NY area who donated gear which was sent to our troops during the Iraq war. As an added bonus, the President of the United States Donald J. Trump was in attendance in a suite directly above us which was a great pleasure seeing him in person.
