My first GT home game I related to my friends that upon returning from Desert Storm that I had returned to a world in which GT had ended the season ranked the #1 team in the nation. This turned about 4 other heads who smiled at me. But the joke was on me when I observed THREE other years listed on the scoreboard in which GT had won the national championship.
