Thank you, VetTix, and thank you to the generous donors who made these tickets possible. My wife, a fellow veteran friend, his wife, and I had an incredible evening seeing Ed Sheeran. It was especially meaningful for my friend’s wife, who is British, as both Ed Sheeran and the opening acts are from the UK. Being able to share a little piece of home with her made the experience even more special. Moments like these create memories that will last a lifetime and bring family and friends together in ways that are hard to put into words. I just wanted to take the time out to let Messina Touring Group and VetTix know how thankful we are for their donation. It means the absolute world to me that I have the opportunity to make up for all the time that was spent away from my family and the memories that I missed out on. The hardships and the sacrifices that we made as a family unit while I was serving was done in silence and we got through it together. Nothing can make up for all of the important first that I missed out on. But the smiles on our faces are genuine and this is a first for us as a family to be able to do something as cool as this. So thank you for that.
