Thank you to The Mountain Winery, The Lynyrd Skynyrd band, and Vet Tixs for helping my wife and I to attend this great concert of a band that we have long been fans of in this beautiful mountain setting! The show was fantastic! And I really like the the singer-songwriter who performed as the opener, he should say his name more clearly and more often 🙂

I first came to Paul Masson when I was about eight years old with my father for a chess tournament. My father, who is also a veteran, just passed away last week. It was a joy to come back here and hear a great band that was playing back then and hear music and bring back memories. Thank you so much for the tickets.

Southern Rock Reigns Supreme: Lynyrd Skynyrd Ignites The Mountain Winery There is something magical about watching rock royalty perform against the historic stone façade of The Mountain Winery. Tonight, Lynyrd Skynyrd didn't just play a concert; they hosted a masterclass in classic Southern rock. From the moment the first chords rang out over the Saratoga hills, the crowd was entirely captivated. The band rolled through their legendary catalog with an effortless precision that kept the audience on their feet, dancing between the historic venue rows. The dual-guitar harmonies were sharp, the rhythms were driving, and the vocals carried the exact whiskey-soaked soul fans have loved for generations. The emotional high point, naturally, came as the night wound down. Hearing the crowd unite for a massive, venue-wide singalong to "Sweet Home Alabama" before the band launched into a soaring, extended performance of "Free Bird" was unforgettable. Decades into their journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd proved tonight that they aren't just surviving—they are thriving, keeping the spirit of American rock and roll fiercely alive. A special thank you to The Mountain Winery for the tickets, and to Vet Tix for orchestrating this experience and sending them out to us veterans. It was an honor to be there.
