My daughter is nine and for the first seven years of her life, I was gone literally half of every year teaching at different Army posts. Because I didn't have the quantity of time that most parents get, quality time became essential. There's nothing better than watching my daughter light up with excitement- and the Taylor Swift concert definitely had that effect!!
