So let me tell you a little story on why this day was so important to me... On Saturday, August 25th, My son, his friend and I went to the Breaking Benjamin / Five Finger Death Punch concert. Here's the prelude to this Thank you message. My son is quite an introvert and tends to have anxiety about social functions. He doesn't care much for Country music like my younger son. I was rummaging through the available tickets and when I mentioned FFDP/BB, he perked up and begged to go. Now, this is not my first choice for music, but when my son get excited about a social event and he actually wants to talk to other people (other than online gaming), THAT is music to my ears. I didn't care what was on my agenda that day; it was getting canceled. He asked to bring his friend and I was thrilled. He had such an amazing night. He schooled me on each band member, each song, etc. I could have cried when he turned to me and said, "Mom, thank you for this.". To all who doesn't know my son, this is not easy for him. He said, "Hey mom, can we go see GodSmack together?". Again, my heart damn near imploded. SO, by far this was the BEST night in a long time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
