I had the privilege to be able to attend another great event by Live Nation in thanks for their very generous donation to Vet-Tix! I was able to take my nephew (David), my granddaughter (Alex), and my sister (Kelly - on the far right - she is a USN Veteran and served in Desert Storm) with me! We all enjoyed seeing Tim McGraw & John Meacham at their Songs of America Book Tour! I believe it was also a great History lesson for the kids, too! Besides listening to Tim & John's playful banter, and the historical context of the songs in relation to our Country's troubled times, good times, and growth, Tim also sang about 12 of the songs throughout the 2 hour show! We enjoyed it so much that we did purchase the book in the lobby, and my granddaughter is planning on reading it as one of her 5 books for her summer reading program! So, once again, Thank You, Live Nation (and Vet-Tix!), for providing this wonderful opportunity to me, my family and other Veterans! I promise you, You Do Make a Difference!
