Dear Texas Stars Hockey, My family would like to thank you dearly for the tickets you donated to vettix. Although we lost the game to San Antonio, it is always an amazing experience to watch. We love attending the hockey games at the HEB Center, but rarely have room in our budget to go. With the donated tickets, we were also able to bring our widowed neighbor Larue, who lost her husband, an Air Force veteran, a few years ago. She had never been to a hockey game before, and truly enjoyed the experience. Larue talked about two things on the drive home: 1. how even though we had been there for three hours, she couldn't believe it. The game made time fly by. 2. The Mighty Fine blimp was both exciting, and frustrating. She thought it was absolutely hilarious that a blimp was flying around dropping coupons, but sad she did not get any. lol. My daughter (on the right) has been a hockey fan since the 2010 season, when a Stars goalie gave her a puck after pregame warm ups. My wife and I started watching hockey when we were stationed at a dual US/Canadian base from 2002-2005. Although I like hockey, she is the one dancing, cheering and screaming during the games. In closing, we thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to finish a long week with a fun and exciting hockey game. Thank you, Jason, Cheryl, Madi, and Larue
