Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the ZZ Top 50th Anniversary Concert (with Cheap Trick performing before them, and Frankie and the Witch Fingers opening). My companions for this event were a couple from our American Legion Riders group (our friends and fellow Army Vets - Sam and Angie McCord), and my husband, Tony! I have been trying to get Sam and Angie to sign up for Vet-Tix and thought taking them to a concert with me would be a great way to get them psyched up to join! I explained to them how most of the concert event tickets in our area are donated by Live Nation Entertainment, so I wanted to include a sign for them, as well as our Vet-Tix sign! We all thoroughly enjoyed this concert (actually knew all the songs by Cheap Trick and ZZ Top), and the time we could spend together! It's always exciting to see so many other Veterans around us and getting to share stories with them! I met a lady and her father (he is a Veteran) who were attending but had not heard of Vet-Tix; I sent her the QR Code from my phone so they can get signed up too! Live Nation, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your generous donation; I hope you realize that you really do mean so much to us and other Veterans - we are ever grateful to you for the opportunities you afford us! As always, Thank You to Vet-Tix for helping us all through your amazing connections!
