VETSAID was an AMAZING show, with an ALL-STAR line-up of talented performers and bands who donated their time to raise money for various Veteran's charities and service member organizations!! My wife and I enjoyed all of the performances by Jason Isbell and the 400 unit, Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow, ZZ Top, The Doobie Brothers and Joe Walsh. It was nice to hear all of the appreciation of our service from both the presenters and performers on the eve of Veteran's Day. The Mayor of Houston introduced Sheryl Crow and in the moments before that introduction, he thanked all of us for our service and sacrifice to the country. Likewise, Drew Carey let us hear actual testimonials from brother and sister service members about vet charities that are out there for us, just before introducing The Doobie Brothers . There were so many touching stories about veteran's organizations that helped with a members transition to civilian life and other charities that helped service members that struggled with drugs or alcohol get the help and counseling that they desperately needed. THANKS Vet Tix and LIVE NATION for giving out thousands for complimentary tickets for all of us veterans to attend an incredible show!! We really appreciate all that you do!!
