Monumental Sports
I would like to thank Vettix and Monumental Sports from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to attend the Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes Hockey game. I am a huge CAPS fan and I was definitely "Rocking My Red" on Monday! I only had one ticket, so I was unable to go with any family or friends, but I had to wind up moving to a different seat and it was truly a blessing. Not only was I watching my favorite team, but I was sitting with the nicest people! I was sitting with other veterans and retired DoD personnel. I was also sitting beside one lady who is going through some similar challenges with her physical disabilities that I have faced and she said that I was an encouragement and blessing to her. I want to thank you, because without your generosity we would probably never would have never met. I talked so much about Vettix and Monumental Sports to one couple that they will start donated tickets that they don't use. This is a wonderful program. Veterans need outlets. Many of us have our calendars filled with doctors appointments, find it hard to adapt to civilian life even years after leaving the military, don't think we can enjoy sports if we can't play them and the list goes on, but outings like this add a new chapter to a story we may have thought ended.
