Thank you to Live Nation and One Republic for the chance to see the show. Because of the generous donation, I was able to bring my two kids (9 and 11). They loved it, my daughter was smiling ear to ear, especially after becoming the owner of a One Republic tour shirt. We were also able to also bring our child's nanny from years ago, who is now moving to a different state. Her move made my son very sad, being the last time he'll see her for a long time. The show gave him the chance to create amazing memories with her that he will carry forever. Luckily, during my time in the Army, I didn't fight in a war (although I served two deployments in Kosovo and Kuwait) so I don't live with those memories of losing friends and soldiers. With that I can say everything I did experience in my 4 years, missing birthdays, spending holidays alone, austere conditions, and everything that goes with service, it was all worth it just to see my daughter laugh and sing to the band and just have fun on an amazing night she won't forget.
