I know I'm an old school country girl at heart. Born in the great state of Texas and daughter of a military man, and I'm proud of it! My husband and I got the chance last evening to see #TravisTritt and opening act #WarHippies in concert thanks to the generosity of PPL Center. Oh how I sometimes long for simpler days - when you could understand the words to a song, when songs didn't have cuss words, when people danced in the streets and enjoyed good, safe times with each other, and when a coke was just a coke. I also miss dancing with my dad - he was such a good dancer. There were so many nights that we danced way into the wee hours of the morning, completely dripping in sweat, with country tunes filling our hearts and mInds. Thank you, VetTix and PPL Center, for a wonderful evening and reminder of happy times. #DateNight #MakingMemories
