Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun afternoon. The National Anthem was gallantly sung by Army veteran James Smith, and we, fans, stood to pledge our allegiance. Chase Field is definitely the best stadium to which I have ever been. We had fantastic seats in Section 314, but we were allowed to sit anywhere since the venue was not sold out. There are no bad seats in the house. The roof was closed, but it was pleasant inside. The wide selection of very well-known food & beverage stations inside the stadium is a huge plus, and the items are reasonably priced compared to other parks. We ate at Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers again, particularly since it was Mother's Day. Great meals and seats. It's one of our new gigs. During games, there are plenty of family activities, festivities, people and groups honored, such as the Mother's Day Tribute (Mother's received free T-shirts. So did I, as I was a single parent.), Chase Carry the Load Members Who Served (military), Amy Gibbons former basketball player, In Game Host Mom's Presentation, Kids Take the Field, Casamigos DJ Booth, Circle K Hot Dog Derby (relish won), Talking Stick Resort Second Chance Game, Arizona Milk Producers Down on the Farm, Cheers to Our Heros (military), New Era Mom Dance cam, Hillsboro Hops player (The Hops are the seed team to the Diamondbacks. We were season tickets holders when we lived in Oregon.), Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; Gonzo won), Fry's Food Store Inning of Winning Relay Race, Seventh Inning Stretch is a blast, D-Backs 50/50 Charity Raffle ($35,784 to the winner), Wendy's Kids Run the Bases, etc. The D-backs won 2 to 1 in the bottom of the 9th. Way to go, team! By the way, it's the D-Backs 25th year anniversary. Congrats! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your fantastic teams.
