Words can’t adequately describe my thoughts. My husband and I, both Air Force veterans, have avidly followed the career of Ed Sheeran for the past 12 years. However, the stars never aligned and we have not been able to attend one of his concerts. Imagine our excitement and anticipation when we found out that we were finally going to be able to see Ed Sheeran sing live and in person on 30 June 2023 at Gillette Stadium! Increase that excitement by a factor of 100,000 when we found out we were awarded floor seats to the show!! We arrived very early, ate lunch at Patriot Place, and chatted with other veterans we met along the way while waiting for the doors to open. Once inside we chose a spot about 30 feet from the stage and eagerly waited for the show to begin. Chatter in the crowd was that John Mayer would be replacing Khalid for our show. While we sent healing thoughts to Khalid for a speedy recovery, we were over the moon to be able to see John Mayer perform! The concert itself was epic-fire, lights, fireworks, and most importantly the ultra talented Ed Sheeran with his amazing voice, heartfelt lyrics, and gracious energetic stage presence. Our heads are filled with cherished memories and our hearts are filled with gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you Messina Touring Group LLC!!! We are so very appreciative of the opportunity and the gift you gave us!!!
