Miami Marlins
Remembering the 1st live game! Mine was when my Grandfather took to the Phillies game in Philadelphia. I wore that hat until the P fell off. Now; my wife’s cousin having his 10th birthday, We are going to see the Marlins game and thought let’s bring him to his 1st game. So we bought 5 more tickets; long story about the extra ticket. Anyway Mathew had the time of his life, we bought him a Marlins hat and he picked out his “Chisholm” jersey. The ushers greeted him with birthday pin and he saw the Happy Birthday displayed on the big screen. Later the camera man found his excitement and he was again on the big screen. And what an exciting game in it and the Marlins win!! Mathew was very grateful and full of Thank yous. The only thing he missed was getting a fowl ball. I told him we have to sit in a different area than where we were 16(11-15). Call it paying forward, maybe? My son called and he remembered his 1st game I took him to at the old Joe Robbie stadium. Miami Marlins a great Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share “baseball” with my children like my grandparents before me. Sincerely, Glenn S. Oncay
