I would like to express my appreciation to the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl and the First Responder Bowl for donating the tickets that made it possible for my wife and I and our friend Rodney to attend the Armed Forces Bowl. (At the last minute, Rodney's wife was unable to attend.) I've attached a picture of us in Amon Carter Stadium on the TCU campus. The Armed Forces Bowl is really a great experience for a veteran because of its emphasis on recognizing current and former members of the military and their contributions (and sacrifices). This recognition happens before and during the game. Before the game, the Veterans Village has booths from organizations that serve military and veterans, where members may find services or resources available to help with any issues they may be having. So, many thanks to the Armed Forces and First Responder bowls for providing these tickets. We really did enjoy the game and the overall experience.
