Dear NHRA. Over the years, growing up in the SoCal area, I have been to quite a few NHRA Drag Racing Events. I’ve never had an experience as wonderful as this. Having the opportunity to enter the Top Eliminator Club was really something special for Me. It was a warm Sunny day and being able to lounge in the shade under the huge tent was awesome. We had s nice Continental Breakfast. We were able to choose from Lemonade, Pink Lemonade, Cold Water, Ice Tea and Orange Juice. At 80 degrees, I went through a lot, believe me. When I got to the very VIP Reserved Seating, I couldn’t believe how great they Were. I could not only watch from from right over the Starting Line but I was also able to see down the whole Track! I came back to the Tent to Cool off and partake of the wonderful BBQ, Rice and Beans. There was a huge TV showing the Live Feed and with the enormous rumble of the Top Fuel Engines, it felt unreal. It was really special the way we were honored and thanked over and over for serving. All the staff were really helpful. I have ti say my favorite part though was after the Sunset when you could see the Flames shooting out of the Nitro Burning Dragsters and Funny Cars. What a great day. I always wondered what it was like to be a VIP and have that type of access. Now I know! Thank you so much to everyone at the NHRA for treating our Veterans so well! I’m including a pic of Me from my Amazing Seats in the Top Eliminator Club only section with the Pomona Drag Strip and Tower in the background! 😎
