The Thunderbirds and WM Phoenix Open
It was a beautiful day at the Waste Management Open on TPC Scottsdale! No rain with blue skies for a majority of the day. Temps warmed up all the way to 58’ degrees, from a low of 37’ earlier that morning. I could not believe how many people were in attendance. I heard there were over 216,000 people there, just on Friday. Everyone seemed to be friendly and polite, just there to take in some golf, some nice weather, and enjoy the party. Although I heard that it may be a little more wild when we sit in the stadium on the 16th hole. There were tons of people dressed up in costumes, we even walked by Teddy Roosevelt from Medora, who was out advertising for North Dakota. There were also a ton of “North Dakota, Be Legendary” posters on the course. Got to watch a lot of the pros up close, like Scottie Scheffler. Here are some views from the day.
