Phoenix Rising FC - USL
Thank you, Vet Tix, Phoenix Rising FC - USL organization and team, Tulsa Roughnecks FC, the Police and Security, all the vendors, and your awesome staffs for a fun night out. It was about my sixth time visiting the stadium since last year. There are no bad seats in the house. Even the General Admission Section is great. One of my friends had never been to a Rising game, and this was also the first time he had ever been to a live soccer game. It was a memorable occasion! James Rambo Smith, veteran Army Ranger and retired fire fighter, sang the National Anthem so eloquently. Friday was Modelo Dollar Beer Night. At that rate, many people were walking around with two beers. Outside the field, the stadium is surrounded by trucks and stations serving delicious food and beverages, a fan apparel tent, and several games to play. The following people and groups were recognized, and several events took place during the game: valley fire fighters, NAU's Arizona K 12 Center, NAU's Teachers' Academy, NAU's Dr. Annie Watson, kid's basketball during Half Time (Blue Team/East Side won), Happy Birthday wishes, Welcome Fans. The Phoenix Band, (Bandidos), in the Supporters' Section, cheered us on and played their instruments the entire game. I'd like to know what they eat and drink to have such stamina. The weather was hot, but this is Phoenix in early September. The game was exciting. Some of Tulsa's players were overly aggressive, though, with their intentionally tripping and literally throwing Rising players to the ground. I thought I was watching tackle football. I guess that's why they are called the Roughnecks. The game ended in a 1 to 0 Rising victory. Yay! It seems like they took around 20 goal shots tonight. Again, thank you Vet Tix, Phoenix Rising FC - USL organization and team, Tulsa Roughnecks FC, the Police and Security, and your stupendous staffs. We, active military personnel, veterans, family members, and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our country! Sincerely, Chuck
