I recently had the opportunity to attend the Oakland Athletics (A's) game against the Los Angeles Angels on the Fourth of July, thanks to the generous donation of four (40 tickets. As a former prior-enlisted officer in the USAF, I was particularly grateful for the chance to share this national tradition with others who value our nation's spirit. The pre-game Hawaiian Shirt giveaway added a fun twist to the patriotic atmosphere, and it sparked conversations among attendees about the diverse cultures that make up the United States of America (USA). It was a great reminder of the importance of unity and inclusivity, especially on a day that celebrates our nation's founding.
