Thank you to Vet Tix and the Kansas City Royals for a third wonderful day of baseball on a perfect summer day at the K. The crowd was raucous and excited and had a great time watching the Royals get the sweep and finish up a perfect homestand. As the Royals pulled ahead on the scoreboard, I took the opportunity to revel in the history of the team with a visit to the Royals Hall of Fame and enjoyed the Outfield Experience. I also got a great picture in front of the statue of my favorite Royal, George Brett. I loved watching George play and reminisced about my first ever game at the K back in 1979, also against the Tigers, when he got 3 doubles and the Royals won handily. The stadium was a marvel to me then and has only gotten better over the years. Thanks again for a perfect day of sunshine drenched baseball in a beautiful stadium!
