Huge thanks to University of Texas — Arlington for the tickets to watch the WNBA Dallas Wings play Connecticut Sun. It was such a wonderful evening for my friend and I who don’t get to see each other often since she lives in Texas and I live in Oklahoma. We were both impressed by College Park Center. We saw some good basketball and the game was especially meaningful because it was “Inspiring Women Night” where so many examples of inspiring women were introduced, starting with the choir beautifully singing national anthem and culminating with presentation of the Lieberman Award to Wanda Sykes. What a night!!! Apologies for the poor quality of our selfie. The lighting was bright behind us on the court with blue highlights around the seating areas.
