Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun evening. Chase Field is such an awesome stadium. We had fantastic seats in Section 143 in left field. The roof was closed, but the atmosphere was somewhat pleasant, although slightly warm. The wide variety of food and beverage vendors inside the stadium is a huge plus, and the items are reasonably priced. Nevertheless, my friends and I ate at Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers, which is part of the venue! The D-Back's started the game by scoring two runs at the bottom of first inning. The A's caught up at the top of the third and went ahead in the fourth on a sacrifice fly. Lourdes Gurriel, Jr. tied the game in the 6th with his 11th homer of the year. Carroll scored the go ahead run in the 7th on a grounder. The A's tied it up at 4 in the 8th with another homer. Then, they went ahead with a line drive triple to center field, and they scored an additional run on a grounder. The A's hit three more home runs at the top of the 9th. The bats were hot for the D-Backs, but they were on fire for the Athletics. The A's won 9 to 4. Carroll played some excellent defense. During the game, there were plenty of family activities and festivities, and people and groups were honored, such as D-Backs Give Backs, WhataBurger WhataFan Messages, Wendy's T-Shirt Toss, State Farm Sing Along, Budweiser Cheers to Our Heros, Cox Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; Gonzo won), Snake Eyes Selfie and various other Cams, New Era Cap Shuffle, aps Electric Moments, D-backs 50/50 Charity Raffle, etc. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your stupendous teams for bringing such joy to people. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You are incredible! Sincerely, Chuck
