Arizona Diamondbacks and Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases
Thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun evening. Chase Field is such an awesome stadium. We had fantastic seats in Section 306 in left field. The roof was closed, but the atmosphere was somewhat pleasant, although slightly warm. The wide variety of food and beverage vendors inside the stadium is a huge plus, and the items are reasonably priced. Nevertheless, my friends and I ate at Willie's Taco Joint down the road. It was Epilepsy Awareness Night. Mesa Public School students performed the National Anthem. One of the Ceremonial Pitches was thrown in by Monte Morris (Phoenix Suns). Bobby Freeman played the organ and led the fans during the 7th Inning Stretch. DJ Frietz spun the discs. During the game, there were plenty of family activities and festivities, and people and groups were honored, such as Budweiser Cheers to Our Heros, Cox Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; Johnson won), Snake Eyes Selfie and various other Cams, T-Shirt Toss (The Husband & Wife Law Team, Mark and Alexis Breyer), Casino Arizona Talking Stick Resort Match Game, Hot Dog Derby (Ketchup won), Phoenix Suns Basketball Toss, Do the Dance, D-backs 50/50 Charity Raffle over $25,000 -$12,500+ split, etc. The D-Back's started the game by scoring two runs in the bottom of first inning. Joc Peterson & Christian Walker had back to back homers. Christian Walker homered again (2 runs) in the 3rd. The D-Backs scored two more runs in the 8th. They ended up winning 6 to 0! Woo hoo! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Texas Rangers, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your stupendous teams for bringing such joy to people. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You are incredible! Sincerely, Chuck
