THE HONDO RODEO FEST
Thank you, Vet Tix, The Hondo Rodeo Fest, Chase Field, sponsors and partners VFW, Frito Lay, and others, The Zac Brown Band, Old Dominion, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun evening. Chase Field is a fantastic stadium. There are no bad seats in the house. We had awesome seats in Section 327, Row 12, Seats 9-12 on the left side overlooking the rodeo arena. The variety of food and beverages is a bonus. My family, friends, and I chowed down on a number of vittles, as we were hungry. Molson Coors Beverage Company was giving out free samples of Spiked Lemonade. Oh, yeah! One of my friends had never been to Chase Field for any event. She was thoroughly impressed. We were led in the Pledge of Allegiance and singing the National Anthem, which fit so well with a down home country crowd. The rodeo was a blast. I think this was my third. I'm not sure about my guests. It is another intelligent use of Chase Field, which was its first. This was no joke. There were a number of world champions competing as well as rope tricks and good old cowboy fun. My wife, grandchildren, other relatives, and I had seen the Zac Brown Band at Chase Field in 2022. We love them. Zac is soooo talented, and his music is appealing to a wide variety of people. He did things last night that would shock most people who never saw him live, like Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and he nailed it. He also led the audience in singing America the Beautiful. Old Dominion was great as well. They have a ton of very familiar love songs. Both groups played old and new hits, as their fans sang in accompaniment. The graphics and light shows were spectacular. The entire event lasted six hours! What a treat! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, The Hondo Rodeo Fest, Chase Field, sponsors and partners VFW, Frito Lay, and others, The Zac Brown Band, Old Dominion, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your stupendous teams for making so many people happy. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You rock! Sincerely, Chuck
