THE HONDO RODEO FEST
The Hondo Rodeo Fest was AMAZING! If it weren’t for VetTix and the donors, I wouldn’t have been able to afford to bring my 2 young boys to this event. We saw the barrel riders, the calf-roping, the gentleman with the trick lassos (the 50’ lasso around him and the horse was astonishing!), and the lady who was doing trick riding (standing and hanging off the saddle). We all watched Old Dominion and the Zac Brown Band. WOW! The musicians were amazing. And my heart swelled with pride when the uniformed Marine came out during “God Bless the USS / Chicken Fried” finale. Top notch rodeo! I can’t wait to go again next year! I’ll definitely be back for another Hondo Fest.
