Thank you VetTix for such an awesome night this year has been beyond rough. I lost my mother unexpectedly towards the end of January, less than two weeks after that, our 6yr old son had an emergency appendectomy. The day after my momma's celebration of life(her birthday February 18th), my dad suffered a massive heart attack. My husband eneded up being out of work most of this year and is finally going to be able to go back in August, and we had our two college kids move back(unexpectedly). On a whim I checked VetTix this Saturday as our youngest two were going to stay with their grandparents in Chicago for a week, and saw that Killer Queen(were super huge Queen fans)would be in Peoria(1 1/2 away). We held our daughter's 2nd birthday party on Saturday and our Littles left Sunday after church, we came home to get ready, and I bought tickets to take our oldest two and our power went out in the middle of getting ready so that was fun lol. Power was restored right as we were leaving. We made it to the concert, I even brought my momma in the memorial necklace I have of her. It was a much need break and reset for us. We all sang at the top of our lungs and barely had voices so it was a phenomenal time had by all!! Fun fact, we remembered a year ago on July 3, 2023, when our Littles went to Chicago we saw Killer Queen for our First Date in the new home we had just bought here, so this was all around a full circle extra special night for my husband and I. Thank you again for giving so selflessly, it truly does far more than you may know. 💜💜💜
