The BayCare Sound
My goodness Baycare Sound again you have proven, in our opinion to be the best concert venue in the area. Attending concerts takes planning for me since I have such difficulties with pain, and walking long distances. This day my husband Donnie, also an Air Force veteran, pushed me in my wheelchair. It's hard for me to decide I need to use it rather than toughing it out with my cane. Your venue makes that choice feasible. Without difficulty I can stay in my chair, navigate down to get food, and basically anywhere in the venue I may need to go. That is rare. Many places are very lacking in accommodation for wheelchair users. Sometimes it's almost impossible. On this day, while coming off the ramp near the ladies room my chair blew a tire. City of Clearwater Officer Dividicent (probably misspelled his name, but it's close) and another Officer came to my aid. They helped me get my tire on, and even aligned properly. The lady working at Will Call was exceptional. She was looking for seats that would be the easiest for me to get to. I did tell her that once inside, I could manage with my cane. Guest Services held my chair until my husband claimed it for our journey home. I saw her later during a break. She asked how our seats were, I assured her they were excellent, and her assistance was very much appreciated. I wish I remembered her name. It's so nice that she remembered me. Thank so much for donating the tickets for us two veterans. Also for providing the infrastructure, and personnel to make it possible for those with extra challenges have a really good time.
