I am a veteran and a single mother of two children. One of my children has 22Q deletion syndrome, Autism, and is nonverbal. Other than a few toys, there is not much that gets him really excited, but sporting events he just loves! I want to thank the KC Current for the willingness to support veterans like myself who want to give their families experiences like these but would struggle to do so without their generosity.
