Ohio State Athletics
Thank you so much, Ohio State Athletics! My wife, son, daughter and myself, were going to attend the event. My wife was ill the night before the event and wasn’t feeling well, come game day. My son and I attended the event, while our daughter stayed home, with her. I called up some good friends (father and son) that we had met years ago, that participated in sports with and against each other, over the years. They are big Buckeye fans, as are we. My son and I also follow Marshall and W.V.U., as I was raised down that way, while growing up. I/we appreciated the day even more so, when the father and son had individually and eventually advised myself, that they had never been to a regular season Buckeye game. They had attended, a previous spring game. My son and I, had only attended one ourselves. That was the San Jose State game, during their championship season of 2002. Maurice Clarrett scored 2-3 T.D.’s , in the corner of the end zone, closest to our seats, that were around the goal line. I’m 61 Y.O. and a Cold War (Army) and Desert Shield/Storm Veteran (Navy). I truly appreciate Ohio State Athletics and Vet Tix, for all that you do, to make this available to all of us veterans and family! My home is filled with Ohio State signed memorabilia, from over the years. The only dream game that I have wished to see live over the years, is the Ohio State and Michigan game, at the “SHOE”, with my son and family! I’ve had some health issues over the past 5-7 years, but eventually we hope to witness that great rivalry. Thanks again, as my friends couldn’t thank us enough, for attending! GO BUCKS!
